Words cannot express the gratitude that I have for Ms. Andrea Brookins and Brookins funeral home. I was having difficulty ordering flowers to be delivered in time for my uncle’s funeral. I called the funeral home to get a recommendation for a florist. I received the answering service and relayed my issue. Within 30 minutes Ms. Brookins called me and provided the information. I was directed to order through their website. Due to the pandemic, the connection to the florist was not active. I then sent an email, not expecting anyone to call me until the next day, since it was after business hours. Ms. Brookins called me again and connected me to the owner of Flowers First by Erskine. Mr. Erskine was at home as it was after business hours for him as well. Andrea assisted me while the three of us were on the phone to place my order for a large Peace Lily. I am extremely impressed by the attentiveness, caring and professionalism that Ms. Andrea Brookins exhibited during this time of grief. Her actions were a comfort to me especially since I was not able to attend my uncle’s funeral in person. Thank you Ms. Andrea Brookins, president of Brookins funeral home!
