The Life of Zack Gammon
An Everlasting Legacy

Zack Gammon was the seventh of the seven children born on August 7, 1946, to Annie McWilliam and Eddie Gammon, Sr. Both his parents, sister, Elzina, and brother, Jonathan, all preceded him in death.

At a young age, he accepted Christ and joined Old Jerusalem Baptist. Zack grew up in Lakeview, Arkansas. He graduated from C.D. White High School and attended AM & N college in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. From there he joined the military. After leaving the military in the summer of 1969, he met Loria Toney, and they made a love connection. Shortly after he migrated to Chicago and married Loria, they had two daughters, Kimberly and Latoya.

While living in Chicago working for CTA Transportation, he met many friends and touched several lives. While on his journey, he later then joined Treasure of The World, where he was faithful until death.

Zack worked faithfully until God called him home on September 29, 2018. He was a loving, generous, courageous man of God with a good sense of humor.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his best friend, Loria; two daughters, Kimberly (Stephon) Smith, and LaToya; six grandchildren, LaTanya, LaNease, LaShae, Tiffani, Taylor, and Immanuel; great-granddaughter, Aubree; three sisters, Annie McClinton, MV Buchanan, and Wyvonia of Chicago, IL; three brothers, Eddie (Donna) of Olive Branch, MS, Bossie Gilbert of Flint, MI, and Elgin Gilbert of Little Rock, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and many, many friends.

He will be sincerely missed.
