Obituary for Annie Mae Bean

Annie Mae Bean was born to Mary and Henry Moore in Selma, Alabama on November 12, 1928, she was one of twelve children born to her parents.
Annie accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Wayman Chapel AME in Selma, AL . Annie would often venture to Birmingham, Alabama. It was during one of those trips that she met and later married the love of her life Theodore Bean Sr. in December of 1946 in which 10 beautiful children were born.

After moving to Chicago Annie made her life as a homemaker. You could come by the house at any time and find her cooking and baking. Annie was a dedicated wife until the death of husband and soulmate Theodore in 2000. More than being a dedicated wife, Annie treasured her role as mother and grandmother embraced every moment of it. She never met a stranger and had one of the sweetest and kindest spirits you would ever come across.
